Margaret King Zacharias
Margaret King Zacharias, Ph.D. is an archetypal psychologist educated at Northwestern University, Assisi Institute, and Pacifica Institute. She has published poetry, short fiction, essays, and arts reviews in diverse regional publications ranging from the Midwest and Arizona to Hawaii. Two of her short stories appear in anthologies published by the Maui Writers Foundation. Five of her stage plays have been produced at Hoyt Sherman Place Theater in Iowa. Her current projects include work on two historical novels.
As a member of Hawaii Writers Guild, Margaret helped to found, and served as facilitator coordinator for, the first three years of Hawaii Writers Guild’s Online Open Forum writers group. She has contributed poetry, essays, and short fiction to the Guild’s literary journal, Latitudes, Editions II, III, IV, and V; served as Associate Editor for Editions III and IV; and served as Managing Editor for Latitudes Edition V published in June 2024.
