Sara-Lynne Simpson

Sara-Lynne enjoys words and how they dance on the page. She teaches writing; her work and that of her students have won many state and national awards. Her WIP is a YA magical realism novel set on Maui in 1878. Sara-Lynne is active in Hawai’i Writers Guild, SCBWI, and Oregon Poetry Association. She gives readings at Bloomsbury Books and the Ashland Library. Her work is published in Latitudes, The Caterpillar Magazine, Light Rising, Sudden Meteors, Verseweavers, and Haiku at the Robin’s Behest.  Sara-Lynne holds B.A. and M.F.A. degrees in Choreography, and she is an accomplished hula dancer.
