Pianta
Originally from Oʻahu, Pianta now lives on Hawai’i Island. She has been a writer and college instructor for most of her career. The majority of her work has appeared in literary journals, but she also writes fiction and experiments with music and songwriting. She currently freelances as an editor and helps others develop their creative projects.
Her publications include poetry in journals such as Nimrod, San Diego Reader, Terrain.org as well as in anthologies.
Her self-published projects include numerous poetry chapbooks, a novella Old Volcano Road, short fiction Floating, and a children’s CD “Little Bird: Songs for Children.” A more complete list of her publications is available at pianta.org.
